Fall in Las Vegas brings cooler weather and a cornucopia of family-friendly events – from pumpkin patches and harvest festivals to Halloween parades and cultural celebrations. Below is a list of autumn-themed activities that families can enjoy around the Las Vegas area.

Gilcrease Orchard Fall Harvest & Pumpkin Patch
Gilcrease Orchard is a historic 60-acre working orchard where you can pick your own pumpkins straight off the vine and enjoy fresh apple cider and donuts. Families love wandering the patch and even a corn maze in the crisp morning air.
It’s a seasonal tradition that supports a local farm. (Open mornings on select days through October; small entry fee.)

Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch & Carnival
A beloved Las Vegas Halloween tradition for over 20 years, Halloween Town features three locations filled with pumpkins, carnival rides, midway games, a hay maze, and tasty treats. The original Boca Park location caters to younger kids, while the other two spots offer full-size rides for all ages.
Admission is free (ride tickets or wristbands sold on-site) and each location provides a safe, festive atmosphere for family fun all October.

The Las Vegas Farm Fall Harvest Festival
This longstanding community farm and animal rescue hosts an annual Fall Harvest Festival every weekend in October. Kids can enjoy a cow train ride, petting zoo, pony rides, and a corn maze while parents browse a farmers market.
Dozens of specialty pumpkins and squash are available, and proceeds benefit the farm’s Barn Buddies Rescue. (Open Saturdays & Sundays; small admission fee.)

McKee Ranch Pumpkin Patch
McKee Ranch offers an authentic Old West ranch experience alongside its pumpkin patch. Families can feed horses, goats, chickens, and a donkey named Duncan, while enjoying hayrides and a hay bale pyramid.
Pony rides and a western-themed playground add to the fun. Admission is per family (includes one pumpkin), supporting a local nonprofit ranch foundation.

Moapa Valley Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
For a bigger fall adventure, head to the Moapa Valley Corn Maze, which plants 10,000+ pumpkins each year. You can take a wagon ride into the field to pick your pumpkin right off the vine. The farm boasts a giant corn maze, a petting zoo, pig races, and more.
It’s an all-day autumn excursion that has become a family favorite. General admission includes many activities.

Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch
These pop-up pumpkin patches are known for their carnival-style fun, offering mechanical rides, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a petting zoo, and a mini train. A huge selection of pumpkins, gourds, and squash are available.
Admission is free; you purchase tickets for rides as needed. These patches run all of October, making them an easy weeknight or weekend stop.

HallOVeen at the Magical Forest
The famous Opportunity Village Magical Forest transforms into 'HallOVeen,' a family-friendly Halloween theme park. This whimsical forest is filled with decorated trees, jack-o'-lanterns, and spooky displays.
Unlimited rides, trick-or-treating, and nightly entertainment are included with admission. Proceeds benefit people with disabilities. (Select nights, Oct-Halloween).

Haunted Harvest at Springs Preserve
An annual outdoor Halloween event that offers a 'spooktacular' yet safe celebration for little ones. The botanical gardens turn into the 'Boo-tanical' Garden after dark, with trick-or-treat stations, games, and entertainment.
Friendly costumed characters make it perfect for younger children. Tickets must be bought in advance for this popular event.

Día de Muertos at Springs Preserve
In early November, the Springs Preserve hosts one of the city’s most vibrant cultural events. This family-friendly festival is full of color, music, and life, honoring the rich traditions of Latin American cultures.
Enjoy beautiful altars (ofrendas), live mariachi, dance performances, and sugar skull decorating. (Runs for a long weekend around Nov. 1–2).

Downtown Summerlin’s Halloween Parade of Mischief
Every Friday and Saturday evening in October, Downtown Summerlin comes alive with a fun, free Halloween parade featuring mischievous floats, high-energy dancers, and whimsical costumed characters.
The parade lasts about 20 minutes and starts at 6 PM, making it a perfect, not-scary after-dinner outing for all ages.

Bellagio Conservatory – Autumn Display
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens puts on a stunning, free fall exhibit. The 14,000 sq. ft. indoor gardens are transformed into a golden-hued wonderland with thousands of autumn blooms and giant sculpted creatures.
The theme 'Autumn Majesty: A Glamorous Harvest' is a multisensory feast of fall colors. (Open 24/7; mid-September until early November).
Las Vegas Book Festival
The city’s largest literary event invites families to celebrate the joy of reading. This free, day-long festival welcomes book lovers of all ages with interactive kids’ activities and author meet-and-greets.
The outdoor festival atmosphere includes food trucks, entertainment, and costumed literary characters. (Free admission; one Saturday in October).

Mount Charleston Fall Colors & Lee Canyon Fall Festival
See fall foliage near Las Vegas! In early October, the aspen and oak trees on Mt. Charleston turn brilliant shades of gold and orange. Lee Canyon ski area hosts an annual Fall Festival to celebrate.
Enjoy scenic drives, hikes, live music, and family activities in the crisp mountain air. Remember to bring a jacket!

United Way of Southern Nevada Trunk or Treat
A safe and fun trick-or-treating experience where community partners decorate their car trunks and hand out candy.
This event provides a secure environment for kids to enjoy Halloween festivities. Often includes games and activities.
Rainbow Library Fall Activities
The Rainbow Library hosts various fall-themed events throughout October, including craft sessions, story times, and movie screenings.
